GREEN | Community Members Travel to Sustainable Cities Design Academy

Congratulations to the Kingsley Association and the Larimer Consensus Group, whose recent neighborhood planning work and competitive application earned them the opportunity to participate in the American Architectural Foundation's Sustainable Cities Design Academy happening in Chicago, IL from November 14-16. This initiative provides leadership development and technical assistance to community leaders who are engaged in planning sustainable green projects in their community. The team from Larimer, which consists of representatives from the Kingsley Association, the Larimer Consensus Group, the City of Pittsburgh and the Urban Redevelopment Authority, will use their time at the Academy to gain the insight they need to achieve a green and equitable neighborhood through a strategy using alternative construction and repurposed materials.
